Form output in CSV format

My clients want to enter user personal info into a form on a web page and have it sent to them as an attachment file in CSV fomat via email. This file is then entered into their proprietary business application. I have a js server side script to process the form to send the email but how do I create the csv file?

Thanks

@ray326Nov 28.2006 — What part of creating a CSV file is problematic? In similar situations in the past I've used a form processor to append records to a CSV file on the server and given the user a URL where they can download the whole thing as needed.

Hey Ray, your profile says you are in Texas. I left Houston 2 years ago for Boston area to be near family but miss Texmex and the people.

Now, to the topic at hand. I want the csv file to be created on the server as the form is submitted for processing and then to have the csv file attached to the email which is sent to the client. The whole process should happen automatically when the form is submitted. I would much appreciate any help you can pass along on how to do this.

This thing has most of what you need. Good starting point if you're a Perler.
