Script for "page x of x" navigation needed

I can’t find this anywhere, and I’m not a developer so I have no clue how to code this out. I need to put a navigation area between the “previous” and “next” buttons on the bottom of each page that says the page you’re on and has a dropdown that allows you to choose another page, while calculating the available pages out so I don’t have to manage it.

It would say:
Previous – Go to page (dropdown, default is current page) – Next

Does anybody have the code or can direct me to somewhere that does?
