setting 2 iframes with 2 pages with 1 link

ok so i’ been playing with like html code like the following

<a href=”levents.html” target=”iframe” onClick=”parent.iframe1.document.location= ‘blank.html’;”>click here</a>

Below is what I have currently.

<area shape=”poly” coords=”322,104,322,131,390,130,390,106″ href=”levents.html” target=”iframe”>

but I need to join both lines of code about to get what I want and I don’t think it can be done that way.

I’m beginning to think it needs to be done with java or php but I have no clue how. Anyone have some code like this or know where theres instructions on how to do this. TIA

take your time and explain in detail (not necessarily code) what it is you want to do.

@doublejzauthorOct 30.2006 — Ok I have an iframe on the left named iframe1 and one for the main content/body area as iframe where the pages display once a link is clicked on. Now i want to be able to click on the events link (map) and have levents.html appear in iframe1 with blank.html to appear in iframe. From there whatever is clicked from levents.html (will be a list) which is iframe1 will appear in iframe.

After this is completed and say the contact us link (map) is clicked it will set blank.html to iframe1 and contact.html to iframe. This way it will remove the list from the left iframe.
