@changintimesauthorOct 29.2006 — #i'm in the United States, and that crackdown stuff sounds ridiculous, very stupid, and dangerous,
the internet is for information exchange and learning among other things,
we have a corrupt Rrepublican party government here presently, and they also wish to regulate the internet, or should i say internets (that's how our gracious leader says it),
it seems the people banding together on the internet to make sure things are good for the people, is a threat to the huge corporations (that support the Republican parties political campaigns) preffer to manipulate the people for their own profits (and keeping their corrupt Republican friends in power),

It is very bad because people ask and get homework assignments and other items straight off the internet without trying to research, all the internet teaches kids and students is how to cheat.
TBH your waffle on american politics has done a 747 m8. Not intrested.

TBH your waffle on american politics has done a 747 m8. Not intrested.[/QUOTE] I must agree that the internet has been an easy way to get things done for students all over the world. Then again, if you're in the middle of a forest with a 2 hour drive to the nearest gas station, then going to a library would be a little out of the question. But for most students, real research can be done, but wikipedia becomes the "insta-homework".
But while I have a comment on the first of your statements, I'm going to stay out of the politics discussion if you don't mind.
