how to email a set of mysql databases to myself

I wish to have my MYSQL databases sent to my email address every 24 hours, they are not big only 1 or 2mb if that.

I have been looking around but can not seem to find a way to back up and email, all i find is how to use the phpmyadmin thats all so far.

is there a command in php to do this? (email the databases)

has anyone done this if so please let me know how, or can this not be done?
