From a database text to a formated PDF

Hi,

I need to find a solution to this problem with free open-source tools :
a user writes a text in a text field, he can add some basic formating to it (bold, italic, carriage return…etc), the HTML result is recorded in a DB. Then he can generate in a click a view of it in a PDF with a predefined formating (3 justified columns, higher font size for the title, sum up before the text). Eventually he can generate an 8-page PDF with the articles he previously chose in the DB.

I though using TinyMCE and the FPDF library to achieve this but I don’t know if FPDF can handle that properly.

What would be the best PHP solution to generate dynamically preformated PDF with dynamic text ?

Thanks,
Chris.
