mutitasking ?

Hi everybody !

In your opinion what would be the best way to perform tasks in parallel using php? For exemple, a user gives 3 values and you make 3 identical calculations in parallel (let s admit they are time consuming), rather than after each others and finally get the results together, in order of completion and independently of each others. Are there any way to perform modular tasks as described and then get the output together ?
