Including one .js file in another

Is it possible to include one .js file into another? I have a set of functions collated in a library call core.js and a further set in extended.js. What I would like to do is to only have to reference extended.js in my HTML page, and this .js file would, in addition, automatically pull in all functions from core.js.

Many thanks…
