[RESOLVED] How to get nested divs in Firefox?

Hello all – okay I am trying to make the transition. I love tables! but I have to learn to let them go … so css layout … Firefox is driving me nuts.

Something simple like this …

<div style=”border:solid 1px blue; width:800px; background-color:#FFFFFF”>
<div style=”float:left; border:solid 1px green; width:200px; background-color:#FFFFFF”>one</div>
<div style=”float:left; border:solid 1px green; width:200px; background-color:#FFFFFF”>two</div>
<div style=”float:left; border:solid 1px green; width:200px; background-color:#FFFFFF”>three</div>
</div>

Should create a div 800 pixels wide with a blue border – with 3 divs inside it sitting next to each other.

In IE it does exactly that.
In Firefox the 3 divs that should be inside the one with the blue border appear BELOW the one with the blue border. How can you lay pages out if you cannot get one div to stay inside another one?

Any help much appreciated – or it’s back to the tables for me! Cheers.
