editor advice

Hi,
I have used a few wysiwg editors for html and now I know what I am after (previously I was a little vague).

I wanted a freeware wyswg/html editor where you can switch between the 2 modes. The reason is I dont want to spend ages typing up a page with tables and formatting as this is tedious. I also know the wysiwg can add html code that you dont want and php/javascript is near impossible to use with them.

I have tried nvu and the problem is that if I add an image link it tends to rearrange the html so it is hard to find, even if you change it,it will change back. Javascript is awkward with it but I can do this elsewhere. Any wysiwg editor that doesn’t allow you to edit the html isn’t what I want either.

Any suggestions?

@jagguyauthorSep 26.2006 — I have page breeze which has wysiwg and html, allows you to reorganize tables easy. It isn't perfect but amaya is a little clumsy as it is easier to have a tab of rsource and wysiwg.

PS Is pagebreeze developed with c++/mfc or visuial basic or something else?

EP2 is 'paid for', but have/or used to have a 'trial period'. Unless things have changed, the trial period didn't stop the software from working... you merely got a friendly reminder of how many days 'past free-trial period' you are...

You get 100% functionality with the trial-version. -Nothing is 'grayed out'.

EP2 is affordable. Something like around $30.oo maybe (I forget what I paid but it's good enough that I felt that I must own a registered paid-for copy, it is is quite affordable).
