not show file.php on address bar

I was wondering if there is a way that when someone enters the name of a website or clicks on the site it does not show the filename.php ext for example it shows:

http://www.something.com/info.php?msg=1

as

http://www.something.com/?msg=1

or something like this.
Is it possible?

@bokehSep 17.2006 — Yes! Just rename info.php to index.php.
