Spanning cells

Hi, I’m new here. Anyways, I have a table that I want to span cells, but I’m developing a calendar and am having problems. I am wanting the user to enter a date, then how many days it repeats. When they enter it, it will display on the calendar starting with the first date and spanning those cells to the last date (the number stored in repeat). Here is the link… http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g144/nau1977/calquestion.gif . Also if someone enters Friday – Monday, how would I do that? I am using ASP Javascript with MS SQL database. Thanks for any help, Nathan.

@PhalonSep 11.2006 — you could use the echo command to insert the <span> tag and the desired properties. now as for saving the information in a database, that all depends on your style and structure of the site.

@ray326Sep 12.2006 — I'd give the cells with events a style. A span is only good inside a cell anyway; it can't wrap multiple cells.
