Creating a website that is easy to update

I am a complete newbie to webpage development but am planning on starting one with a couple friends. I would like to be able to update it easily from any computer with an internet connection for things like daily postings, link changes, etc (see [url]http://www.greenplastic.com[/url] for an example of the format I want). I imagine this being done without having to dip back into the source code and then reupload the code to the server… So I guess what I’m hoping for is a server that offers a web-based editor.
