"please wait" popup???

hi guys

i have a page which has a div, who’s content is changed depending on the link clicked. one of the links does quite a bit of processing before the div content is changed.

during this processing, id like a small pop up div saying “please wait..” to appear and then disappear when the processing is complete.

any pointers on how i may be able to achieve this? im guessing via AJAX somehow???
