hello all we have all seen those great blooming baskets and such that grow over a period of time……well how do you do that?????pretty pretty please……. netta
these are those empty posts you send to people in e-mail.
then you get the code in e-mail they send you and you put it in to your html page and viola!! it grows leaves and flowers alittle each day as the month goes by.....
@jdaviaJul 06.2003 — #You can read the code of an e-mail the same way as an html page, View Source. But you will have to know what to omit and maybe also decipher the code. If you know how to properly code, you can figre it out.
So look at the code of the final page with the flowers. You might be able to use "Save As", to save as an html.
Other than knowing how they did the growing plants, why do it when you can get it already done.
@NettaauthorJul 09.2003 — #well first off the source code for the e-mail is just that the e-mail the only part of the growing graphic is the copy paste that they send you.......
if you link an image into a page then change the image where its stored the image will change right??
(as long as it's labled exactly the same)
but is there away to change it with out doing it manually??
these things take weeks to go from one image to the new growth one.....someone is not changing it dayly.
and as to the why when i can get it already done.......
well just that i don't want there's i want to make my own!!
@LotusJul 09.2003 — #Have you ever considered that it could be something as simple as an ANIMATED GIF??? It's easy to make the code read the clock of your computer and when this and that time is over the image changes to a new one.
