How can I ….

Hi,

I have a string “De Beer Piet”. “Piet” is the boys name. “De Beer” is his surname. I need to split the string sothat I can have:

$FName = “Piet”
$LName = “De Beer”

What is a easy way to do this.

Please help.

@themartySep 05.2006 — it depends on the string. in this case you could do:
$arr = explode(" ", $string);
$FName = $arr[2];
$LName = $arr[0]." ".$arr[1];
