why is it some website can play sound without me needing to download a plugin.. i wonder how they are doing it..

IM no fan of sound in websites unless it is to enhance a users experience, if you have a user who has a text reader, any sounds that your script plays will be played into the sound mapper which is where all sound ends up before it is processed or output after it has been processed.

So basically it interferes with things.

IM now going to wash my mouth out with carbolic soap for saying this, Flash will allow you the flexability and web content that you crave for, its not easy to start with and IM no fan... but good luck.

..yes i figured flash would be the thing.. every guy is saying so.. but im just talking about a subtle sound for say like buttons.. not background music which is i am no fan also ?

this is my first time attempting to add a sound.. have tried it using the behavior panel and it didnt work.. im really confuse ?
