oh gosh .i’m so it with this. i’ve been at it for hours . i’m trying to set up and re-do my site and i have no idea where to start . i get the css codes configuration of the skeleton, but for some reasoning i’m having a bit of trouble putting it together .was the bad part is in know what format i want for it ,but like i said i no idea to start . the real misunderstandings lie in my layout also i really need help on my background image . i want a fixed image with a scrolling fading contrast color at the bottom of the image . i hope that makes scene to you guys . please someone help me . here a link of the layout i’m trying to emulate .

This should be fairly simple to figure out. I'm not quite sure what you are asking for regarding the 'scrolling fading' part of the image and both of these words have special meaning. I think you mean to say "gradient" where the image color slowly moves from one color into another color over it's length and/or width. This could be said to 'scroll' and also, to 'fade', but both these words mean other things too.

Also, AVOID USING ALL CAPITOL LETTERS WHEN YOU TYPE, -this is difficult to read for those whom read such forums and screentopics daily. It is strainging upon the eyes, and is it widely considered 'yelling'.
