I don’t think this is possible, but I thought I would ask just to make sure. When you use the prompt() function, is there anyway to make the textfield in the popup window a password field (i.e. the typed data does not show)?

You can (i think) mix some VBscript in your page to do this, or you can spoof the prompt box by creating an equal size border-less popup window containing a standard password input box, and then pass that info from the new window back to the script.
