[RESOLVED] Inserting Text From Opener Form Field

I am presenting the contents of a form field in a pop-up window. The text is showing up just fine in the pop-up window but for one exception. All carriage returns are being converted to spaces. I have tried to use string.replace(regEx, “<br>”) where regEx = /n/g, but the “<br>” just shows up literally and doesn’t introduce an HTML line break as expected.

Any suggestions? Thanks.

@newsomerauthorAug 28.2006 — Please ignore. I forgot I was injecting the text into the DOM which was treating the line breaks as part of a single child node.
