The reason why this is occuring is due to how the image was cut. You have white space in your menu image the best thing to do if you don't want to cut the image again is to include overfow: hidden; in the css for the menu, and change the height of the menu to remove the white space. Actually I just checked your image and you have the correct size in the css just include overflow: hidden; and it should work!
