php tutorial upload file problem

Hello i’m new to php so there is probably something I haven’t set up properly, I had a look through the forum quickly but couldn’t find a quick fix other using a completely new tutorial.

This tutorial helps you upload a file with error checking using 2 files. its a tutorial on html goodies php

I have copied and pasted the tutorial:

into 2 text files and uploaded them to a php server, after uploading a text file using the html form, the html page connects to and loads the .php file to upload the text file and then the browser says done( in the grey loading part of the browser at the bottom, that shows the urls), with no text on the .php page at all… when I should have had a result saying if the file was uploaded or not.

Also, the file hasn’t uploaded either.

Any ideas?
