easier ways to update content??

Hey guys.

Are there any easier ways to update the content of a website providing a format stays the same. possibly linking certain divs to notebook/excel docs???

At the minute I’m going into the html n seeking out what’s to be changed.

All ideas welcome.

Website is here (I’m aware of the mix-up between classes/id’s in parts and the lack of alt=””s)

@matty_y2002Aug 16.2006 — not revelant to your post but ive just bin on your site and you need to save your banner.jpg to .gif as it is pixelated and blurry in parts due to the compresson rate that .jpg uses.

@matty_y2002Aug 16.2006 — nah, just googled it and this is what i found to back up my previous post. jpg:

A common file format for photo-realistic images. Not as common as GIF for banners because JPEG compression has a tendency to blur small text.

@kofman2155Aug 16.2006 — You can achieve higher resolution with jpg and ultimatly a higher quality image than a gif. But the file size increases dramatically if you go 100%

Gifs are limited to only 256 colors so dithering could happen and often does with poorly saved photos but like matty mantioned is probably prefered for web site graphics also due to low file size.

ultimatly a higher quality image than a gif.
Only when the content is "photo-like". Hard edged graphics with fewer than 256 colors will look better as GIFs.

That banner should be a GIF. It looks to have maybe four colors in it and high contrast edges. Dropping the color count in the GIF creation process to 16 or less will really jack up the LZ compressor, too.

@ninacababaauthorAug 17.2006 — Cheers guys. I think I'll have to start that from scratch again then as I only have the jpg saved.

Any answers to my original question?? Or is it gonna be a php jobby
