? Does the <noscript> code thing work in all browsers that don’ thave javascript enabled? is there any other way to show a message when javascript isn’t enabled? ?
@felgallAug 14.2006 — #Even version one browsers from the dim distant past can handle noscript tags even though they don't know what the tags are supposed to be for. Any tag that a browser doesn't understand will be ignored and so the content of the <noscript> will be displayed in any browser that either doesn't understand noscript tags or which doesn't have Javascript enabled.
@CharlesAug 14.2006 — #Do not, however, use the NOSCRIPT element to insult your users with a message like "Your browser does not suuort JavaScript, please upgrade."

But perhaps the user has some disability that prevents the use of JavaScript. That's like expecting a blind person to choose to check the clock rathar than ask you for the time.
Let's say that you have some fancy JavaScript menu thing going on there. The NOSCRIPT element is there so that you can provide a script free list of all of the links. And in the worst case it can be used to provide a link to a script free version of the page.
