Javascript (Cookie) Question…I know nothing about cookies.

I have this page where the user just basically types, it’s used to organized something..But that’s not what this is about.

I am using a bunch of blank Textareas and they type their codes/organize whatever they do, And I wanted to know if I can set up a cookie incase they click something on the page and wanted to go back..Rather than loading the new page and going back and seeing it blank!

I don’t know very much about cookies or even javascript for that matter, but I do have common sense, Any help or Tips would be great…

Also maybe if you have time, maybe along with this there can be a button to SAVE their stuff, and they can just Load/Reset it in the future.. ?

Thanks.
