Centering a PHP window, & auto sized

Hello I would like to have a new window that opens from an html file centered and possible have the new window auto sized so that it is exactly the width of a form I am using.

I’ll try to point form this, I know sometimes it’s hard to read these posts and understand the writing, I see the right words, but, sometimes I don’t wrtie them… ?

• New PHP window opens from an html link (index.php) another page
• Would like to center the window. (auto centered for all screens)
• Would like to have the new window sized to fit the form exactly

@pcthugAug 13.2006 — PHP cannot modify browser properties (centering, resizing, etc.), it's beyond it's capabilities as a server-side language. To do such use a client-side scripting language, i.e. Javascript.

Alas, we are human and can accoplish great feats. Corn to Gas, Man to the moon, rovers on mars,

We can do this, it's possible, has ta be!


At any rate if it can be done with Java what would be the script? for an example please if you could.
