Expandable table?///Horizontal scrollbar horrors!

I’ve heard of making tables that expand to fit the text you put inside them. Anyone know how to make those?

Also, on the website I’m building, I’m making a logo header (in the form of an image). The trouble is, it won’t go all the way over to the right edge at 100% width. It has a little bit of space at the end. If I make it long enough to stretch to the end (105%), there is still the same amount of space– and a scroll bar! I hate horizontal scroll bars…

HELP!

Tables generally work alright for their entended purpose, which is not page layout.

Also, specify your table width in % which will help you display your data irrespective of the resolution and avoid horizontal scrollbars.

May be you need to define a few scroll bars considering a background (any color) that repeats behind the image. Design a logo, of two sizes 480x60 / 720x60 and place it at the center
