I have a question regarding users being able to go to a website with pre-made emails, fill out a form with their name and who they want to send it to, and then have the custom email sent. How would I even go about doing this?
@pccodeAug 02.2006 — #Unfortunately the only way to send an email with javascript is by using the mailto command. You can set the form method to post and then include the mailto:[email protected] command in the action attribute. But that also requires that each user has a pop3 email account and the email content will contain numerous hexadecimal characters making it difficult to read. Your best bet is to use a server side language like perl or php. I've included a link below where you can download the php manual in .chm format. It's a valuable resource for php programming.
