It needs to send the request to some program on the web server that will process the data and store it somewhere for you (in a database, in an email address file, or whatever). This is the [b]action="some_file_name"[/b] attribute in your <form> tag: it specifies where the form data will be sent to be processed.

I just placed the “join the mailing list” html code onto my website. Where do I check/view the information once people have signed up and submitted their info?
