Hey, I was wondering how I could have custom cursors on my website using the css, but set it up so that if someone who is browsing has their own custom cursors installed, the ones on my site do not overwrite theirs.

The current code I am using for custom cursors is:
property {cursor: url(“cursor.cur”), default;}

@KorJul 28.2006 — maybe you could give the user a choise from the begining. Something like "Do you want to use your own cursors?". In this case you should set/unset your cursors on using javascript (CSS on the fly)

@ray326Jul 28.2006 — That's part of the reason that some folks (like moi) think you should not alter a part of the user interface that isn't part of the page (like scrollbars and cursors).
