I work in a call center and use several websites that I need to use throughout the day so I have a tool bar created in HTML, I use at work. Its almost like a quick launch bar. On the bar, there are over 40 links. Links to .xml .doc .html .js files. The thing is I have 512mb ram on my computer and when I go to another computer that has only 256 mb ram and pull up all my tools from the tool bar. I.E. Crashes and takes out all open I.E. windows. Is it because the links I launch are from the root “toolbar” program which is overloaded, because when I launch the programs lets say through my favorites in IE. It very rarily crashes. So I have been led to believe that because I am launching them from my html tool bar is drawing to much memory. Is there a way to launch a link from a html document to open in its own “memory allocating” window. “and Im not taking about target =blank,” or Is it because the systems at work are running windows 2k, with 256?
