annoying ActiveX warning

I have a HTML page with several links that change the content of an iFrame on that page.

The iFrame contains a HTML file with an embedded video object.

When I click a link it changes the src of the iFrame HTML file , which plays a different Video .

My problem is that I get “An ActiveX control on this page is not safe … Your current security settings prohibit running unsafe controls on this page. As a result, this page may not display as intended”

Everything works fine , including the video but I get the warning message over the top.

What causes the message & is there a work round ?

@phpnoviceJul 05.2006 — There is an IE setting (Tools / Internet Options.... / Security) of [B]prompt[/B], [B]enable[/B], or [B]disable[/B] associated with that message. It is currently set to [B]prompt[/B]. If you don't want the message, then you must set this to [B]enable[/B]. However, changing this one setting will affect the use of other ActiveX controls at the same time. Unfortunately, I've never seen a list of what ActiveX controls go with which settings so that informed decisions can be made in that area. Sorry.

@felgallJul 05.2006 — The easiest way to get rid of all ActiveX warnings is to use any browser other than InternetExplorer since all other browsers just ignore the ActiveX and do things the proper way.

@phpnoviceJul 05.2006 — I wish you'd stop using that "all" superlative in your categorical "denunciations" of IE. It has already been shown to you that other browsers will support ActiveX, too -- for example, Mozilla will.
