Please Help…MySQL

Hey for my site I want a client to be able to login and then it will take them to a page that gives them choices of what do, and someone told me to make the client list I should make a database. Is that what MySQL is? and if so how do I do this? and how to I link it to the Login Form on my site…

@simontuxJun 23.2006 — I am making a guess here, but I don't think this is the correct place to be asking this question.

Do a bit of research on it, MySQL with a server side language like PHP will give you what you want - here is a starting point for you http://www.evolt.org/article/comment/17/60265/index.html
