I have found my website listed on other sites. I have e-mailed the administrators and sent the url’s to the dead link department at yahoo, google, hotbot, altavista, aol, netscape, msn, infoseek, and other search engines.
However it still shows. My hosting company suggested .htaccess. I tried it but if I use ReWriteRule [F], I cannot see my own page.
My htaccess contains everything except for the last line which is to fail pages and/or images.
What can be done with Perl, Java, CGI, Oracle, Apache, C++, Fortran, javascripts, hotscripts, and/or other programming languages so the search engines cannot index links on specfic websites?
If programming is not the answer, what are my best alternatives for keyword search optomization?
