show/hide layers without javascript warning?

Does anyone know a good way of doing a show/hide layer without getting a javascript warning?

I am trying to show/hide a layer when people mouseover my navigation and always get that frustrating javascript warning in IE.

"To help protect your security, Internet Explorer has restricted this file from showing active content that could access your computer. Click here for options.."

@flydianslipJun 16.2006 — That's just because your security setting is set high. If it was lower you wouldn't get that warning.

Even if it is a different technique then javascript?
