writing a wrapper SP that in turn will execute DB function

Is it possible to write a wrapper SP that in turn will execute DB function. This wrapper SP can be executed from the awt/swing editor .

This wrapper stored procedure should accept this(exec storedprocedure_name IN/OUT/INOUT parameter)string and internally takes care of executing the paticular procedure with respective parameters.

If possible ,kinndly any one suggest me the link or provide me the code for it.
