Invoke ‘Save Target As’

Does anyone know how to code a hyperlink of a video/ audio file such as WMV, WMA, MP3, RAM, RA so that the ‘Save Target As’ automatically is invoked rather than the associated player playing that file?

I presume it would have to be done in PHP but I know very little about it.

I have something like 50+ movie files so it will be impractical to include the urls in the PHP file. I have seen examples online where the PHP file is stored in the video clips folder and points to the files in the directory.

@KDLAJun 08.2006 — You could put the video/audio in a zip file, and have the link go that zip file. On click, he/she would be prompted as to whether to save or open.

That's the easiest way I know.

@felgallJun 08.2006 — Serve the files as PHP and add the appropriate headers to identify the real file type. You can then specify that they are attachments rather than to be displayed inline.
