[RESOLVED] Problem with tables

Hi,

I am designing a website and I have some problem with the tables.
There is a space inbetween the main banner and the body of the page and I can’t figure out how to get rid of it. I have already set the cellpadding and cellspacing to 0 so it’s not that.

The space only seems to show up when I add the navigation image (the one with the links in the top right corner). If I take this image out then the space goes away. But I need the image there.

Here is the link:

@millimillenaryauthorJun 06.2006 — nope, that just brings the info_box up higher so it rests against the top of the left column cell.

what I have is the top row which goes from left to right and there are two images in this row plus a matching background, and this row spans two columns (the one with the info_box and there is another larger column to the right which takes up the rest of the space).

the colspan setting is correct but for some reason adding the second image to the top cell creates a weird space, but logicly it shouldn't be there, arrrggg!

do you mean the black line?

its a repeat of your background image banner_bg.gif

so you can enlarge your banner a bit or check carefully the height of all your elements to make all fit them at 150.
