Remember the value of file input

Hi,

I seem to be having a problem remebering the image details on my form.

Basicly if the form is incorrect it goes back. I get it to remember the details by

[code=php]
value=”‘ . $_POST[‘fieldname’] . ‘”
[/code]

This however doesn’t work it my image field. Is there a way around this?

Since it is possible to make forms automatically submit themselves if the behaviour you are asking for were to be implemented it would be possible to steal files from clients' machines.
