Problem with htm file voor outlook

Hello,

maybe someone can help me with a problem i have.

I want for our compagny use a background in outlook with our logo etc.

Now was the problem at first that the background would not resize in different resolutions. I found 3 solutions for that problem, 1 was a value in the <div>, 1 was a javascript solutions, and 1 i found here, also settings in the <style> and <div>.

Now is my problem it works fine but in outlook i cant type anymore, this problem is with al the solutions, when i remove the <div> and <style> the image won’t resize but i can type over it.

the picture name is Achtergrond.JPG and the HTM is Achtergrond.HTM, here
is the HTM file:

<html>
<head>
<title>Achtergrond</title>
<style><!– body, P.msoNormal, LI.msoNormal, PRE, BLOCKQUOTE, a, MENU, dd, UL, DT { font-family: “Arial”; font-size: 12pt; margin-top: 0em; margin-bottom:

0em; color: #000000; } dir, ADDRESS, h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6, HR { font-family: “Arial”; font-size: 12pt; margin-top: 0em; margin-bottom: 0em; color: #000000;

} –></style>

<style type=”text/css”>
body {
/* for IE; otherwise, BG isn’t fully stretched */
margin: 0px;
}

#bg {
position: fixed;
margin: 0px;
border: 0px;
padding: 0px;
left: 0px;
top: 0px;
width: 100%;
height: 100%;
overflow: hidden;
z-index: 0;
}

#bg img {
width: 100%;
}

#body {
position: absolute;
left: 0%;
top: 0%;
width: 98%;
height:98%;
padding: 1%;
z-index: 10;
}

li {
margin-bottom: 2em;
}
</style>
<!–[if IE]>
<style type=”text/css”>
body {
margin: 0px;
overflow: hidden;
}

#body {
padding: 1em;
width: 100%;
height:100%;
overflow: auto;
}
</style>
<![endif]–>
</head>

<body>
<!– img must be encased in div to keep proper image aspect ratio –>
<div id=”bg”><img src=”Achtergrond.jpg”></div>

</body>
</html>

Can anybody help me please?

Thnx in forward!

Grtz.

Freek.

@KDLAMay 26.2006 — Your message doesn't make sense - are you sending out an HTML email newsletter via outlook, or are you trying to create a webpage in outlook?

@KDLAMay 26.2006 — The easiest thing to do is to create an HTML file (looking like letterhead) outside of Outlook, then import it as Outlook stationery.

Tools > Options > Mail Format > Stationery Picker > New...

This will set the letterhead as the background, and allow you to type on it.

@Freek666authorMay 26.2006 — Ok. i tried that before, but than i have the resolution problem, on resolutions above 1024 x 768 is the picture to small. There for i tried some style and div codes but then i can't type on it. I imported an htm with the styl and div but even i could not type on it. When i imported an normal htm then i can type on it but then i have the resolution problem.
