SEO & Include Tags?

I cannot find the answer to my simple question so I will bring it here to the experts.

I use Include tags on my index.shtml page. The included page has my website links in the header and footer. When search engine robots crawl my website do they see and pick-up my linked pages that are in the Included page or do they only see my Include tag? <!– #exec cgi=”/header.htm” –>
Which would be worthless.

@felgallMay 15.2006 — Any browser or search engine spider will see the parsed version of your page where the include files have already been included. No one but you can see the version of the page with the include statement in the code.
