Trigger open dialog after download is finished?

Hi All!

I am new to Javascript and stuck on a problem, hoping more experienced developers could chime in.

I am using the function execCommand(“SAVEAS”,true, “myfile.xls”) to allow user to save the page that they’re looking at as an xls file. Is there anyway we can trigger the open dialog to open “myfile.xls” after it finished downloading?
