Problem in remeber me option in php

Hello Everyone

I am facing two problems.
First, i want to use remeber me option while login to my site using php,mysql using cookies.
Second one, user will be automitically logged out if he is not using or browsing my page if he previously logged in to my site and user will get a message about the resaon why he is logged out, this script also using cookies.

Waiting for any ones reply.

@LiL_aaronApr 30.2006 — A cookie is for... so if the user does leave the site and come back... they shouldnt need to relogin, unless there cookie session as ran out.

What you would what is use of sessions, and not cookies.
