stop malicious scripts

on my website i am starting to allow users to upload tutorials and articles.

the problem i am going to encounter is malicious code. i currently log all ip addresses on login and on registration but i just wanted to know if anyone has a link/any tips on stopping people from entering malicious code into the database via the text boxes

iv done a bit of testing and already notice how you can do alot without much work atall as the site does all the work for the person entering the malicious code.

@NogDogApr 28.2006 — If you're using a MySQL database, I'd suggest looking Example 3 on the mysql_real_escape_string() page.
