Boxes round text

Ive just started using html and havent done much with it, atm im creating a little site out of html so i can improve etc.

[B]My Problem[/B]

Ive created my own navbar with PS and have put in links.

as you can see it has put boxes round the links but i dont want this, can i get rid of it? and how?

@UltimaterApr 24.2006 — Without forcing upon you the HTML requirements specified in the browser standards, your fix is as easy as:
<i>
</i>&lt;style type="text/css"&gt;
img{border:0;}
&lt;/style&gt;

or you could do it manually for each image like so:

</i>&lt;img src="http://www.freewebs.com/anthonyking/Navigation/About%20Us.png" [color=blue]style="border:0;"[/color] alt=""&gt;
