Streaming and downloading wmv files

Hi,
I stream a little wmv video (4M? from my web site. I was asked to allow the possibility of downloading it by a click, for having it off-line.
However, the use of a button to start the download has a disadvantage: when the visitor clicks this button, in most of the cases his Windows Media Player opens automatically the file. The user has to go in the File menu of WMP and only at this point can save it.
Is there a possibility to allow the user directly to download the file without WMP to activate?

@WickedApr 22.2006 — make another directory with each file in its own .zip file. Im sure there is a better way but that is one way..
