limiting list box to previously selected options

I need a javascript code very simple, that I have two drop down list boxes listA and listB… then I choose option “A1” in listA and option “B1” in listB, then I will have another list box called listC that only have to options A1 and B1 that were previously selected.

then I choose option “D1” in listD and option “E1” in listE, then I will have another list box called listF that only have to options D1 and E1 that were previously selected.

then I will have another list, called listG that will include the option selected in listC and the option selected in listF.

Like a tree.

Please help thanks.

@felgallApr 21.2006 — My page http://www.felgall.com/jstip37.htm has info on copying entries back and forward between two lists. It shouldn't be too hard to build on that code to add in the extra lists.

@mjuliaoauthorApr 21.2006 — thanks

but I will like a little modification,

it should be automatic (no add button)

it should limit to 2 choices (one from each list box)

thanks
