help with "making choices"

Hey everyone,

I think i need to be here with this question, although i’m not sure.

I have created an intranet, at startup there’s a screen to choose between persons A and persons B.
The difference between the two is that one little file (a text-file which i include) is a little different (an url in that file).

At this moment i have duplicated ALL files with the exception of this file.

What i would like is that, when at startup the choice is made between A and B, my site automatically uses textfile1 or textfile2

I’m just getting started on javascript, so could anyone help me with this?
I think i need to use ‘if’-statements, but i need the site to ‘remember’ which choice was made at startup.

PS: the intranet is placed on an IIS-server, so i could also use asp, if that’s easier.
