I know how to use JS to DISPLAY a current date format but what I want is to capture that date within a form so that I have a dated record of the message sent. Any ideas?

@ray326Apr 14.2006 — #The worst way to do it is with Javascript on the browser. You can take the same string you might print on the page and assign it as the value of a hidden Date field. I'm assuming you're using a mailto: action on your form of course. That's not a best practice either, though.
