form action plz help me

k i got this html thing and im tryin to edit it so when u press submit it sends it to my email to i right clicked the html file and pressed open with and choose note pad then i went down and found action form then i edited it to say “form action= mailto: My email addres” but then i tried it out but instead of sendin the information it opens an email thing lik as if you were goin to send something and u have to type stuff so i was woundering what to type so when u press submit it sends it to my email

@TiGGiApr 12.2006 — there's nothing you can type in the action field to do that. you need serverside script to acomplish this. So what serversides do you have available to you? (coldfusion, asp, php...)
